RESOLUTION NO. 2014-23
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM MIDWEST
LANDSCAPES TO THE OTSEGO PARKS AND RECREAITON
DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Midwest Landscapes has made a donation of 20 trees totaling
$10,525 to the Otsego Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, the donation to the Otsego Parks and Recreation Department is for
the purpose of adding amenities to the Prairie Park Soccer Complex; and,
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 465.03 requires that all gifts and donations or
real or personal property be accepted only with adoption of a resolution of the
governing body; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego sincerely thanks Midwest landscapes for their
generous donation and for its support of the community; and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Otsego, Wright County, Minnesota that the donation by the before mentioned
busineeses is hereby accepted.
ADOPTED this 28t` day of April, 2014 by the Otsego City Council.
Motion to Adopt made by Council Member Heidner and seconded by Council
Member Schroeder.
