CITY OF OTSEGO
COUNTY OF WRIGHT, MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A TWO HOUR PARKING ZONE ON PARSONS
AVENUE.
WHEREAS, Parsons Avenue between 85th Street and 87th Street withint the
Great River Centre was designed to provide for movement of traffic, lot access and on -
street parking for adjacent properties guided by the Comprehensive Plan and zoned for
future commercial uses within the Great River Centre subdivision; and,
WHEREAS, the on -street parking would be anticipated to serve as convenient,
short term parking that is in addition to off-street parking required by the Zoning
Ordinance for adjacent commercial businesses; and,
WHEREAS, Section 8-3-2.0 of the City Code authorizes the City Council to
designate parking zones by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the full segment of
Parsons Avenue between 85th Street and 87th Street within the City of Otsego shall be
designated as a two (2) hour parking zone and the Streets Department is hereby
directed to post appropriate signage and stripe parking stalls as determined by the City
Engineer.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Otsego this 23rd day of June,
2014.
