Proposed changes to this Pay Plan include: - The Recreation Department and Seasonal Maintenance positions include a $0.50 increase to both the minimum and maximum hourly rates to maintain compliance with minimum wage laws in Minnesota and to maintain competitiveness with the part-time and/or seasonal labor markets. - The Election Judges position was increased $3.50 for the minimum, and increased $0.50 for the maximum. - The Administrative Intern is a new position within the City, and has been added to the pay plan. 2021 Pay Plan: Scored FT/PT Positions The City’s current pay plan for regular scored positions was adopted on December 14, 2020 and became effective on January 1, 2021. At the May 24, 2021 budget meeting, the City Council directed staff to prepare a draft budget including a 3.00% cost of living adjustment within the scored positions pay plan. This assumption was later reviewed by the City Council at the September 13, 2021 budget meeting, and the City Council concurred to keep the respective cost of living adjustment within the final budget. Each position has been scored by Baker Tilly to assign positions to a pay grade, scores are based from job duties.
