Call to Order.
This meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM.
Roll Call: Chair: Toni Seroshek; Commissioners: Chris Wilson, Gail Anderson, Cara Husak, John
Waldron, Kathleen Beaudry; City Council: CM Brittany Moores.
2. Consider Agenda Approval:
Commissioner Cara to approve the agenda as written. Seconded by Commissioner Kathy. All
in favor. Motion carried. 5-0
3. Consider the following minutes:
3.1 October 12, 2021.
Commissioner Chris motioned to approve the minutes with updates to remove Doodle Bug
and add note of Canopy was smaller and banner did not fit. Seconded by Commissioner Gail.
All in favor. Motion carried. 5-0
4. Updates:
4.1 Updates on City Council actions.
CM Brittany informed the Council on the following City Council items:
• Approved the new development of Harvest Run East 4th Addition
• Continued conversations on CIP and Budget
• Fire Station is still in the works
o As of now Otsego residents are covered by the Rogers, Albertville and Elk
River Fire Department.
• Dunkin Donuts is currently being built
• Holiday Gathering? CM Brittany will find out more about the gathering and get
back to us.
4.2 Updates on future Heritage Preservation items.
Old City Hall: It was discussed that the OHPC will need to come up with a detailed plan
for the restoration/recommendations for the Old City Hall to present to the council. CM
Brittany was in the building and informed us that there are many updates that are
needed in order to preserve the building. Commissioner Cara will do research on Grants
that could be available for this type of renovation. The Commission will table this item
for further conversation in January.
5. Otsego View Article.
Commissioner John sent the pictures for the next winter article. The article will be written from
the book “Images of America Otsego” written by Paulie Skaja-Bell and Chris Wilson. The stories
are located on page 10 and page 59.
CM Brittany will find out the deadline for new articles to help the Commission prepare for
future stories.

Commissioner Gail motioned to adjourn. Seconded by Commissioner Chris. All in favor.
Motion carried. 6-0
