RESOLUTION # 94-80
RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT MN/DOT PROCEED WITH THE LAND
ACQUISITION, DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE TH101 ACCESS ROAD
BETWEEN 62ND STREET NE AND FRANKFORT TOWNSHIP BOUNDARY WITHIN THE
CITY OF OTSEGO AND THE REMAINING PORTION OF STREET TO WRIGHT COUNTY
STATE AID HIGHWAY 36
WHEREAS, MN/DOT will be upgrading TH101 between Rogers and Elk
River; and
WHEREAS, as part of the upgrading of TH101 local access to the
highway will be eliminated except at intersections with county
highways. Property owners will be provided access to TH101 through
a system of access roads.
IF
WHEREAS, Otsego is proposing that Quale Ave. (Otsego) and Quam
Ave. (Frankfort) to be constructed as a through access road between
Wright County State Aid Highway 36 and 37.
WHEREAS, Mn/DOT has agreed to construct the portion of access
road stated above in Otsego from 62nd /Street NE to the Frankfort
Township boundary.
WHEREAS, the remaining portion of access road between 62nd
Street and 70th Street will be placed on a cooperative agreement
program for future funding consideration by Mn/DOT.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council of the City of
Otsego, Wright county, State of Minnesota that Otsego requests that
Mn/DOT proceed with the acquisition, design and construction of
said road.
