Item 3.1 12-14-2021 Public Safety Meeting MinutesPUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION OTSEGO PRAIRIE CENTER DECEMBER 14, 2021 6:30 PM Call to Order. This meeting was called to order at 6:31 PM. Roll Call: Chair David Greeman; Commissioners: Dan Freiberg, Paul Fields, John Braun, Gregory Hubbard, Vern Heidner, Jim Breitbach, and Mark Wolf; City Council: Mayor Jessica Stockamp, CM Tina Goede 2.Consider agenda approval. Commissioner Jim Breitbach motioned to approve agenda as written. Seconded by Commissioner Paul Fields. All in favor. Motioned carried. 7-0 3.Consider the following minutes: 3.1 November 9, 2021 Commissioner Paul Fields motioned to approve the minutes as written. Seconded by Commissioner John Braun. All in favor. Motion carried. 7-0 4.Open Forum. No comments were made. 5.Review received monthly reports. 5.1 Albertville Fire Department. – No one present - Data provided. 17 calls for service in November. Average response time was 10:54 minutes. Mayor Stockamp and Commissioner Hubbard discussed a recent change in dispatching for Albertville fire. There are now certain criteria for fire fighters to be dispatched to medical scenes. 5.2 Elk River Fire Department. – No one present. Data provided. 6 calls for service in November. Average response time was 9:35 minutes. 5.3 Rogers Fire Department. – No one present. Data provided. 6 calls for service in November. Average response time was 11:29 Minutes. Item 3.1 5.4 Wright County Sheriff Department. - Sergeant Oltmanns present - Commissioners asked questions related to overnight parking during the winter months and how the sheriff’s office deals with snowbird violations. Sergeant Oltmanns talked about recent events in the city. We also went over a recent survey conducted in the city as it related to law enforcement. The survey is available to anyone on the city website. 6. Set Next Meeting. 7. Adjourn. Commissioner Dan Freiberg motioned to adjourn. Seconded by Commissioner Jim Breitbach. All in favor.
