Item 3.1 - 01-15-22 PR Minutes ITEM 3.1 OTSEGO PARKS AND RECREATION City Hall January 18, 2022 7:00 PM Call to Order. Chair Angie Dehn called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Roll Call: Chair Angie Dehn; Commissioners: Jim Breitbach, Kitty Baltos Angi Hilde, Laurie Jones and Corey Tanner. Absent: Commissioner Matt Killam and Liz Benoit City Council: Mayor Jessica Stockamp and Council Member Brittany Moores. Staff: Ross Demant, Parks and Recreation Director; Nick Jacobs, Parks and Recreation Operations Coordinator and Connie Schwecke, Recreation Coordinator. 1. Open Forum. 2. Consider Agenda Approval. Commissioner Baltos motioned to approve the amended agenda. Seconded by Commissioner Hilde. All in favor. Motion carried. 3. Consider Meeting Minutes. 3.1 November 16, 2021 Regular Meeting Minutes. Commissioner Hilde motioned to recommend to the City Council to approve all meeting minutes as written. Seconded by Commissioner Breitbach. All in favor. Motion carried. 4. Unfinished Business. 5. New Business. 5.1 Review of 2022 Park Project Outline. Parks and Recreation Director Demant introduced Gabrielle Grinde from HkGI who reviewed the River Access and School Knoll Park Projects. Ms. Grinde also reviewed the parks wayfinding signage. After review of Carrick’s Landing Concept Park Plan, commissioners agreed they would like to see a concept plan that would include an ADA compliant concrete pad with picnic tables at the river’s edge and an ADA accessible dock. After review of the School Knoll Park, commissioners agreed to move basketball and tennis courts on the concept plan so the green space is closer to parking lot. Commissioners also wanted to keep the walking trail loop with the possibility of enlarging the trail loop to the adjacent school property. 6. Parks and Recreation Update. ITEM 3.1 Parks and Recreation Director Demant presented parks update. Recreation Coordinator Schwecke presented recreation update. 7. City Council Reports. Mayor Jessica Stockamp presented City Council Report. 8. Adjourn. Commissioner Breitbach motioned to adjourn. Seconded by Commissioner Hilde. All in favor. Motion carried. Adjourned at 8:31 P.M.
