COUNCIL WORKSHOP
April 8, 2009

Roll Call: Otsego City Council: Mayor Jessica
Stockamp, Councilmember Tom Darkenwald,
Councilmember Mark Thorsted, Councilmember Vern
Heidner and Councilmember Dan Scharber.
Otsego Staff: City Administrator Michael Robertson,
Finance Director Gary Groen, Public Works Supervisor
Brad Belair, City Engineer Ron Wagner, and City
Attorney Andy MacArthur.
The workshop was called to order at 5:30 p.m.
LandCor Letter of Credit: Mike and Andy reviewed the
issues and will meet with LandCor on Thursday
morning April 9, 2009.
Capital Equipment Planning- Public Works & Parks:
Gary, Brad, Ron and Mike reviewed the plan. Council
directed staff to add an inflation factor to park
equipment replacement costs. Brad was directed to
get quotes for the planned replacement of a plow
truck.
Discussion of Building Official Offer: Mike and Gary
discussed the promotion of Harold Leonard to
Building Official. Council authorized an offer.
With no further business the meeting was adjourned
at 7:25 p.m.
