AGENDA ITEM DETAILS RECOMMENDATION: City staff is recommending that the City Council approve the hiring for Seasonal Maintenance positions. ARE YOU SEEKING APPROVAL OF A CONTRACT? No No BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION: To support the Parks and Recreation Department responsibilities in park maintenance, staff is recommending the hiring of 4 individuals for the budgeted positions of Seasonal Maintenance. If approved, these positions would assist with park maintenance through the summer. The applicants have undergone an interview, reference inquiry, and successfully passed a background check and drug screen. The Seasonal, Temporary & Part-Time Pay Plan outlines a range of $13.00- $18.00 per hour for the Seasonal Maintenance position.
