07-26-1978 Town Board MinutesState Of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this 26th
County of Wright day of July, 1978. Lloyd Beaudry, Chairman, Virgin -
Town of Otsego is Bistodeau, William Schulz, Supervisors, Jerome
Perrault, Clerk, Betty Adkins, Asst. Clerk were
present. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Lloyd Beaudry.
The Town Board reviewed the plans and specifications as prepared by
Meyer-Rholin for the blacktopping of the streets in Walesch Estates and
80th street from Co. Rd. #19 to Marlowe Av. then North on Marlowe Av. to
83rd St., then East on 83rd St. to Mason Av., then North on Mason Av. to
Co. Rd. #39.
Motion made by Lloyd Beaudry to approve and accept the plans and
specifications and to advertise for bids on said projects, the bids to
be received on or before 2:00 p.m., August 28, 1978 with the bids to be
opened at 2:oo p.m. August 28, 1978. Seconded by Virginia Bistodeau,
passed unanimously.
Motion made by Virginia Bistodeau to postpone second Town Board
meeting in August from August 21 to August 28 at 8:00 p.m. Seconded by
William Schulz, passed unanimously.
Motion made by Virginia Bistodeau to accept bid of Robasse Construct-
ion to rebuild z mile of township road. Road to be built with a 28 ft.
top and 22 ft. ditches. Seconded by William Schulz, passed unanimously.
Motion made by Lloyd Beaudry to make preliminary plans for appoint-
ing a 6 member planning commission to assist the Town Board in planning
future developments within the Township. Seconded by Virginia Bistodeau,
passed unanimously. The Town Board submitted alist of possible members
and will advertise in the Sherburne Co. Star News for volunteers to
serve on the commission. Larry Fournier -business, Stuart Turnquist-Environ-
mentalist, Ray Schultz -Engineer, Jerry Louden -school teacher, Clayton
Berg -Building Inspector&mobile home resident, Andy Alberti -mobile home
resident, Phyllis Lampson-school teacher.
