09-05-1978 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town Of Otsego met this 5th
County of Wright day of Sept. 1978. Lloyd Beaudry, Chairman,
Town of Otsego Virginia Bistodeau, Supervisor, Jerome Perrault,
Clerk, Lewis Pouliot, Treas., Betty Adkins, Asst.
Clerk were present. Meeting was called to order by Lloyd Beaudry,
Chairman. The minutes of the August 7th and August 28th Town Board
meetings were approved as read.
Omar Pouliot appeared before the Board to request a variance to
allow a mobile home to remain on his farm for 2 years for his son to
live in while attending school. He has sold his farm and the new owner
is willing to leave it there.
Lloyd Beaudry moved that Virginia Bistodeau consult with David
Fricke, Co. Zoning Administrator, regarding a variance to allow the mobile
home to remain for 2 years. Seconded by Virginia Bistodeau.
According to the Co. Ordinance mobile homes on a farm no longer
used for agricultural purposes must be removed.
The Planning Commission was discussed. Three members of the Plan-
ning Commission were present at the meeting, Wil Nordin, Larry Fournier,
and Carl Swenson. The second Thursday night of the month was suggested
as a possible meeting time. The Board decided to have one Town Board
member sit in on the Planning Commission meetings as a non-voting member
and to appoint a. seventh member to the Commission.
Motion was made by Virginia Bistodeau to appoint Kathleen DeMars
to the Commission, seconded by Lloyd Beaudry.
Motion made by Lloyd Beaudry that the second Thursday night of each
month, at 8:00 p.m. be the regularly scheduled meeting time of the Plan-
ning Commission. Seconded by Virginia Bistodeau.
Proceeding as a board of audit and allowed verified accounts. Nos.
134 to 157 inclusive.
On motion the meeting adjourned.
