10-16-1978 Town Board MinutesMinutes of the Board of Audit of the Town of Otsego Town Board Meeting
held this 16th Day of October, 1978. Virginia Bistodeau and William
Schulz, Supervisors, Jerome Perrault, Clerk, Betty Adkins, Asst. Clerk,
were present.
The meeting was called to order by Virginia Bistodeau in the
absence of Chairman Lloyd Beaudry.
The minutes of the Oct. 2, 1978 meeting were approved as read.
Betty Adkins reported that there was nothing in the County Ordinance
regulating manure pits and that it would be strictly up to the Township
to adopt an ordinance ,establishing controls.
Betty Adkins reported that Melvin Dalieden has checked the town
hall furnace requirements and will be submitting an estimate on instal-
ling a new furnace and D&J has also checked and will be submitting an
estimate.
Motion made by Virginia Bistodeau that the township accept the roads
in the Fifth Addition of Mississippi Shores and the roads in Hall's First
and Second Additions, (based on the inspection and approval of Larry
Koenig, Wright Co. Highway Engineer.) seconded by William Schulz.
Motion made by Virginia Bistodeau that the township make a partial
payment to Hardrives, Inc. of $68,739.25 of which $65,126.94 will be for
Walesch Estates (Project A) and $11,250.00 for Project B (80th Street
and Mason Ave.))less 10% retainage subject to inspection (including
borings to test blacktop thickness) and approval of Meyer-Rholine, Town-
ship engineer.
A report was received from the township planning commission and they
will review the plat submitted by Arlene Holen at their next meeting
and review the petition of Dave Storest to 7.1 acres in Sec. 14, Twp. 121,
Range 23 from R-2 (Suburbanresidential 5 acre lots) to R-2 (Suburban
Residential with a minimum lot size of Vi acres) and the petition of
Dennis Moore and Greg Nordby to rezone 4.8 acres in Sec. 16, Twp. 121,
Range 23 from R-2 Suburban residential (5acre lots) to R-1 (Urban -Rural)
with a minimum lot size of 1 acre.
Motion made by Virginia Bistodeau that the Wright Co. Planning
Commission be requested to table action on the petition of Frank E. Miles
to rezone that part of the SW k of the SE k of Sec. 21, Twp. 121, Range 23
from A-2 General Agriculture to R-2 Suburban Residential for a 2 acre
residential lot until the township planning commission has reviewed the
proposed rezoning and made their recommendations.
