01-08-1979 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this County of Wright 8th day of January, 1979. Lloyd Beaudry, Chairman Town of Otsego Virginia Bistodeau, William Schulz, Supervisors, Betty Adkins, Assistant Clerk, Jerome Perrault, Clerk, and Lewis Pouliot, Treasurer were present. The minutes of the Dec. 18, 1978 town board meeting were approver as read. Betty Adkins reported that Mrs. Parker, who lives in Vasseur's Addition has made numerous complaints about dogs running loose on her property. She has complained to the dog catcher about the problem but he advised he could not pick them up unless they were licensed so he could idenitify them and be able to determine if they were trespassing on others property. David Reemts appeared before the Board to request that his property be rezoned from A-2 Agricultural to Commercial. His permit for a stor- age bulding was turned down by the County Planning Commission. The Board advised him that he is on the agenda of the Otsego Planning Commission meeting on January 11, 1979 and the Board will abide by the recommendation of the Otsego Planning Commission concerning rezoning his property. Virginia Bistodeau moved that a treasurer's report be given every month and be included in the minutes of the meeting held on the first Monday of each month. Seconded by William Schulz, passed unanimously. As the County Assessor has advised the Board that there will be a substantial increase in the valuation of farm land in 1979, the Board discussed the probability of having a special meeting so that farmers can get an explanation df the valuation increase by having the Co. Asses- sor or his deputy present at the meeting. Motion made by Virginia Bis- todeau to have an informational meeting on farm land valuations in con- junction with the second town board meeting in the month of February and to postpone the meeting one day to Feb. 20 as the third Monday is a legal holiday. Seconded by Lloyd Beaudry, passed unanimously. Proceeding as a Board of Audit, the Town Board audited and allowed verified accounts Nos. 251 to 301 inclusive. On motion, the meeting adjourned. Attest:
