County of Wright 5th day of February, 1979. Lloyd Beaudry,
Town of Otsego Chairman, Virginia Bistodeau, William Schulz,
Supervisors, Jerome Perrault, Clerk, Betty Adkins
Asst. Clerk, Lewis Pouliot, Treasurer were present.
The meeting was called to order by Lloyd Beaudry, Chairman. The
minutes of the January 15, 1979 meeting were approved as read.
The Treasurer reported a balance of $162,000.00 in the Town Bank
deposit.
Jane Noon, representing Steve Winter, appeared before the Board to
ask their opinion of his subdividing 17 acres he owns in the NE k of
Section 14, Range 24, into three (3) lots and selling them for devel-
opment. The Board advised her as the property is on a private road and
not public, the Co. Zoning Administrator would be reluctant to give
building permits for the lots. Because of the topography of the area
the cost of building the road up to township specifications to make it
a public road would be prohibitive. The Board advised her the matter
would be presented to the Otsego Planning Commission at their Feb. 8,
1979 meeting and also would present her proposition to the County Zon-
ing Administrator for his opinion.
Motion made by Lloyd Beaudry that the town treasurer be requested
to deposit $100,000.00 of town funds on savings accounts, $50,000.00 of
which would be deposited on 3 month certificate of deposit and $50,000.00
on 6 month certificate of deposit. Seconded by Virginia Bistodeau,
passed unanimously.
The TownBoard appointed the following to serve as election judges
for the Annual Town Meeting: Virginia Bistodeau, Sharon Berning, Marion
Alexander, Erma Lefebvre, Joy Swenson, Germaine Beaudry, Elizabeth Kepka,
Arlene Lindenfelser, Marie Corbin, LuAnn Lindenfelser,Stella Lefebvre,
Judy Roden, Olive Kolles, Betsy Vetsch, Della Anderson, Olga Roskaft.
Proceeding as a Board of Audit the Town Board audited and allowed
verified accounts Nos. 302 to 342 inclusive.
