06-04-1979 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this 4th County of Wright day of June, 1979. Lloyd Beaudry, Chairman, Vir- Town of Otsego ginia Bistodeau, William Schulz, Supervisors, Jer- ome Perrault, Clerk, and Betty Adkins, Asst. Clerk were present. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Lloyd Beaudry. The minutes of the May 21, 1979 Town Board Meeting were approved as read. Buffalo Seal Coating Co. appeared before the Board to discuss seal coating blacktop roads in River Ranch 3rd & 4th Additions. He quoted a figure of $13,000.00 plus dollars to seal coat about 2 miles of road. Motion was made by William Schulz to advertise for bids on the seal coating project as it exceeds $10,000.00. Seconded by Virginia Bistodeau, passed unanimously. The Board asked Betty Adkins to request advice from Larry Koenig Co. Engineer, as to how to advertise for bids on the project, i.e. what quantities of oil and buck shot rock to request per sq. yd., whether to advertise on a sq. yd. or per mile basis. Steve Durant of Dayton, MN applied for a set-up license and "On - and Off" sale beer license as he is purchasing Tony s Tavern" (business only). Tony Rice will retain ownership of the building. Montion by William Schulz to approve the applications of Steve Durant for a "set- up" license and "On and Off" beer license, seconded by Virginia Bistodeau passed unanimously. Motion by William Schulz to put up "No Parking" signs on one side of Township Road by Tonys Tavern to relieve a possible traffic hazard. Seconded by Lloyd Beaudry, passed unanimously. Dog control problems were discussed. Blain Midway has been notif- ied only to accept calls from Betty Adkins or the Town Board members as the Town Board is in the process of revising it's ordinance on dog con- trol. Betty Adkins has advised Blain Midway to patrol only on request. Virginia Bistodeau reported on attending the Wright Co. Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting on May 31, 1979. Leander Becker was on the agenda to have 5 acres rezoned from agriculture to residential but did not show up. Mary Baufield was represented by her attorney and architect. Vir- ginia Bistodeau advised the Planning Commission that the Town Board approved rezoning her farm to commercial. Action was tabled until a site inspection was made. Motion by Lloyd Beaudry that the Township continue to abide by the Wright Co. Zoning Ordinance as amended in 1978 (in lieu of the fact that the Township does not have it's own zoning ordinance), seconded by Virginia Bistodeau, passed unanimously. Proceeding as a board of audit the Town Board audited and allowed verified accounts Nos. 79 to 102 inclusive. On motion, the meeting adjourned. Attest:
