12-03-1979 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this 3rd County of Wright day of December, 1979 at 8:00 p.m. Lloyd Beaudry, Town of Otsego Chairman, Virginia Bistodeau, William Schulz, su- pervisors, Jerome PerraUlt, Clerk, Betty Adkins, Asst. Clerk, were present. Meeting was called to order by Chairman, Lloyd Beaudry. The min- utes of the Nov. 19, 1979, Town Board meeting were approved as read. Betty Adkins reported she had contacted Jordan Odegard regarding in- creasing insurance coverage on the town hall as a new copying machine, electric typewriter and furnace have been recently installed. Mr. Ode- gard advised her to contact Elmer Beaudry of Mutual Service as he has insurance on the other township buildings. The Board advised her to have Elmer Beaudry review and revise the town hall policy and also review the policy on the garage to be sure it and it's contents are adequatly covered. Motion by William Schulz to approve Betty Adkins attending a Sewage Treatment Workshop put on by the University of Minnesota, Seconded by Lloyd Beaudry, passed unanimously. Ray Carron appeared before the Board to request approval of combine 2 lots in Block 1 of Carrons Addition into a 2%2- acre lot and 2 lots in block 2 of Carron Addition into a 211 acre lot, both to be serviced by a private road. Motion by Virginia Bistodeau to approve the request, seconded by William Schulz, passed unanimously. Ed Greninger appeared before the Board to discuss future road im- provement. Mr. Greninger felt the Board should rebuild 80th Street West one mile from Co. #19 and Kadler Av. from 80th St. South to 1-94, this coming year. He felt they should be built with at least a 28 ft. top so they would be ready for blacktop if the Board should decide to do so. The Board advised Mr. Greninger to make an inventory of the roads in the township, and which ones need repair and in what priority order they should be worked so that the Board and future Board members would have a guide to go by. Proceeding as a board of audit, the Town Board audited and allowed verified accounts Nos. 271 to 311 inclusive. On motion, the meeting adjourned. Attest:
