12-17-1979 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this 17th County of Wright day of Dec., 1979 at 8:00 p.m. Virginia Bistodeau, Town of Otsego William Schulz, supervisors, Jerome Perrault, Clerk, Betty Adkins, Asst. Clerk were present. The meeting was called to order by Virginia Bistodeau, acting chairman in the absence of Lloyd Beaudry. Minutes of the Dec. 3, 1979 Town Board meeting were approved as read. The Board reviewed the new Dog Patrol contract with Blain Midway All Pets, Inc. The schedule of fees for the new contract are $13.00 per hour for patrol service, $10.00 impounding fee, and $3.50 per day Board fee. The Board deleted the paragraph referring to furnishing the Poundmaster with license tags, receipts, and other forms as the Township issues the locenses and collects the fees. Motion by William Schulz to approve the contract, seconded by Vir- ginia Bistodeau, passed. Motion by Virginia Bistodeau to request Blaine Midway to reduce patroling to 4 hrs. every two weeks instead of 4 hrs. per week until further notice. Seconded by William Schula, passed. The Board considered the petition of Richard Grupa to rezone his land in the NW k of Section 17, Range 23, lying North of Co. #39 from A-2 agriculture to 11-2 residential to establish a single family dwel- ling. He owns 11+ acres. The Board recommended at this time just to rezone 2% acres for one dwelling. Bill Evans appeared before the Board to complain about the lack of grading on 87th St. The street is full of chuck holes and has black magic on it which create a slippery condition when wet. The Board advised him they wll have Ed Greninger drag the street now if weather permits and next spring consider blading the street and mixing gravel with the black magic. Betty Adkins reported that Elmer Beaudry is reviewing the township insurance policies. He has recommeded $5,000.00 coverage on the Town Hall contents, #30,000.00 coverage on the town garage building. He has said he would like to appear at a town board meeting to discuss the insurance coverage. On motion, the meeting adjourned. Attest:
