County of Wright 19th day of May, 1980, at 8:00 p.m. Lloyd
Town of Otsego Beaudry, Chairman, William Schulz, Virginia
Bistodeau, Supervisors, Jerome Perrault, Clerk,
Ken Ashfelt, engineer, Bill Radzwill, attorney, were present.
The meeting was called to order by Lloyd Beaudry, Chairman.
The minutes of the May 5, 1980 Town Board Meeting were approved as read.
Bids received for the bituminous surfacing of the roads within
Vasseirs Oak Grove Estates, 1st & 2nd Additions and 85th Street one-haif
mile East from Co. 37, were considered.

Supervisor Virginia Bistodeau introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
Whereas pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improved dis-
cribed as follows: to improve and blacktop those roads within Vasseurs
Oak Grove Estates 1st & 2nd Addition and 85th Street East from Co. 37 a
distance of mile. Bids were received and tabulated according to law
and whereas it appears that Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. is the lowest re-
sponsible bidder, and now, therefore, Be it resolved by the Town Board
of the Town of Otsego, Minnesota:
1. The Chairman and the clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
enter into a contract with Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. of Buffalo, MN 55313
in the amount of $155,797.50 in the name of the town for the improvement
according to plans and specifications approved by the Town Board and on
file in the Office of the Town Clerk.
2. The Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forth-
with to all bidders the deposits made with their bid except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and next lowest bidder shall be re-
tained until a contract is signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Supervisor William Schulz and upon vote being taken thereon
the following voted infavor thereof: Lloyd Beaudry, Virginia Bistodeau,
William Schulz.
None were opposed, said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted.
Bill Radzwill explained Bonding procedures. The Bonds will run
for 10 years at $1300.00 per lot, the assessment would be $130.00 per
plus interest and can expect an interest rate of around 7.2%.
Ken Ashelt explained all driveways would be repaired where hills
were cut down or other grading occurred.
A bid to rebuild 80th St. one mile west from Wright Co. 19 was re-
ceived from M.L. Schendzielos, Inc. He submitted a per hour bid of:
1. D-8 Power Shift - per hour $60.00
2. 20 yard Scrapers - per hour 40.00

4. Back Hoe - 7/8 yd. - per hour 40.00
5. T07 finish Cat - per hour 40.00
Estimated construction cost - $6,000.00 to $9,000.00.
Lloyd Beaudry moved to accept the bid and have a contract drawn
up between M.L. Schendzielos, Inc. and the Town of Otsego for construc-
tion of 80th Street one mile West from Co. 19. Motion seconded by
William Schulz. Passed unanimously.
A decission was held on assessor's wages. A review will be made
of wages paid in previous years and considered before negotiating his
wages for the coming assessing year.
Ed Greninger discussed with the Board the possibility of applying
black magic to Kadler Ave. from Co. 39 South. The Board agreed to the
proposal but felt if would not be necessary to start at Co. 39 but rather
by Art May's residence.,
Motion by Lloyd Beaudry to order 10 loads of black magic, seconded
by Virginia Bistodeau. Passed unanimously.
On motion, the meeting adjourned.
