10-20-1980 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this
County of Wright 20th day of Oct., 1980 at 8:00 p.m. Lloyd
Town of Otsego Beaudry, Chairman William Schulz, Supervisor,
Betty Adkins, Asst, Clerk, Jerome Perrault,
Clerk, were present.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Lloyd Beaudry.
A group of residents of 85th Street between Co. 37 and Nashua
Ave. appeared before the Board to request reduced speed limits on
that stretch of road because of the number of homes on that road
and the number of small children in the area. They suggested 35
miles per hour.
Motion by William Schulz to put 40 mile per hour speed limits
on the road and also put up "Watch Out For Children" signs. Seconded
by Lloyd Beaudry, passed.
One resident of 85th Street complained of a neighbor's horse
trespassing on his property that is a constant problem. The Board
said the next time this happens they should tie up the horse and
the Board would have Blaine Midway All Pets pick up the animal.
Motion by William Schulz to postpone the Town Board meeting
scheduled for Nov.3, 1980 to Nov. 6, 1980. Seconded by Lloyd Beaudry
and passed.
On motion, the meeting adjourned.
