County of Wright this 1st day of Dec. 1980 at 8:00 p.rn.
Town of Otsego Lloyd Beaudry, Chairman, William Schulz,
Supervisor, Betty Adkins, Asst. Clerk,
Jerome Perrault, Clerk, Lewis Pouliot, Treasurer were present.
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Lloyd Beaudry.
Minutes of the Nov. 17, 1980 town board meeting were approved
as read.
Motion by William Schulz to approve payment to Buffalo
Bituminous, Inc. for the blacktop project of Mississippi Shores
1st & 2nd Additions, contigent upon the receipt of 3 items:
1. Certificate of Claims Payment (Lewis)
2. Affidavit of payment of state taxes.
3. Letter of consent from Surety Firm.
Seconded by Lloyd Beaudry, passed.
Motion by Lloyd Beaudry to approve a variance to Richard
Gardner allowing him to sell existing home providing at least
a one acre lot is included with the house sold, and the balance
of the 30 acres remains as one parcel.
Seconded by William Schulz, passed.
Adoption of an Ordinance prohibiting parking on Township
Streets was discussed. Action on the ordinance was tabled until
the full Board could discuss it.
Andrew Merges Jr. appeared before the Board to present his
bill for final payment of the 1980 assessment based on a val-
uation of $11,006,873.00. At this assessed figure, the bill
came to $5,755.00 (mil. per dollar of assessed valuation) less
$4,000.00 prepaid. The Board withheld $255.00 pending consid-
eration of P.E.R.A. deductions.
Motion by Lloyd Beaudry to make advance payments of $1,000.00
per month for five months beginning in December, 1980 to Andrew
Merges Jr. for the 1981 assessment period. Seconded by William
Schulz, passed.
Proceeding as a Board of Audit, the Town Board audited and
allowed verified accounts Nos. 344 to 373 inclusive.
On motion the meeting adjourned.
