01-05-1981 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this 5th County of Wright day of January 1981, at 8:00 p.m. Lloyd Beaudry, Town of Otsego Chairman, Virginia Bistodeau and William Schulz, Supervisors, Betty Adkins Assistant Clerk, Jerome Perrault, Clerk, and Lewis Pouliot, Treasurer were present. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Lloyd Beaudry. Minutes of the Dec. 15, 1980 Town Board meeting were approved as read. Motion by Virginia Bistodeau to pay the City of Albertville for the Lawrence Dupont and Floyd Roden fire calls for which the township had been re-imbursed and withhold payment on fire calls due the City of Albertville for which the township has not been re-inbursed. Seconded by William Schulz, passed unanimously. The Board also requested that Betty Adkins contact the City of Albertville and request that all fire call bills be submitted within 90 days of occurence so that the township can send more timely bills to Insurance companies involved. Dave Fricke, executive secretary of the Minnesota Ass. of town officers, appeared before the board. He said that the Wright Co. Com- missioners had recently violated the intent of the Wright County Ordin- ance by approving two permits for mobile homes which did not come as provision of accessory to a farm. He felt that town boards within the county should take action against the County Board of Commissioners to rescind their approval of the permits as they would have no grounds to turn down future app of a similar nature. Franklin Denn and Basil Schillewaert of the Monticello Town Board appeared before the board and spoke in favor of the request of Zoning Administrator Tom Salkowski for a 6 month freeze on consideration of rezoning applications. They felt the town board should advise the County Commissioners of their support of the freeze. Motion by Lloyd Beaudry that the town board of the town of Otsego support Mr. Salkowski's request for a freeze on re -zoning appolications for 6 months and advise the County Board of their support. Seconded by William Schulz, passed unanimously. Edward Greninger appeared before the Board to request that they consider hirf.Lng Gordon DeMars full time by April 1, 1981. He felt there was enough work to be done that he was needed full time. Virginia Bistodeau suggested that they consider hiring a CETA employee to help out. The Board requested Betty Adkins to contact the CETA office in St. Cloud about the possibility of obtaining an employee. Proceeding as a Board of Audit, the Town Board audited and allowed verified ac ounts Nos. 374 to 415 inclusive. On motion the meeting adjourned. Attest:
