County of Wright day Of October, 1981 at 8:00 p.m. William Schulz
Town of Otsego Chairman, Douglas Lindenfelser, Supervisor,
Jerome Perrault, Clerk were present.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman William Schulz. Minutes
of the Oct. 5, 1981 Town Board meeting were approved as read.
Dale Berg appeared before the Board to cbplain about the large
number of dogs running loose in his area. He lives on Ohland Av.
The Board advised him they will request Blain Midway All Pets to
patrol the area at least twice to see if that will help the problem.
Lawrence Fournier appeared before the Board to request re -zoning
33 acres from A-2 Agriculture to R-2 Residential.
William explained that since August, 1978 the County Ordinance is
more restrictive about re -zoning agriculture land and are more concerned
abount preserving agricultural land. He said that it was unlikely that
the Wright Co. Zoning Administrator would approve re -zoning the land.
Ingal Roskaft said that the Otsego Planning Commission had not approved
re -zoning Mr. Fournier's land because it lies south of Wright Co. 39
and the Township Comprehensive plan will only consider development North
of Co. 39. In order to approve the re -zoning it would be necessary to
revise the Township Comprehensive Plan.
Motion by William Schulz to deny the request at this time, seconded
by Douglas Lindenfelser, passed.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser that comsideration should be given
to reviewing and updating the township comprehensive plan. Seconded by
William Schulz. Passed.
Motion by William Schulz to approve Betty Adkins' request to attend
two seminars, Ag Preservation, Soils and Growth Management Seminars at
the Holiday Inn St. Cloud on Oct 26 and Township Attorneys Legal Seminar
on Oct 20. Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser, passed.
Motion by William Schulz to approve purchase of and the required
modifications to install a new door on the Town Garage. Seconded by
Douglas Lindenfelser, passed.
Douglas Lindenfelser was appointed to check the type of doors avail-
able to see what would be vest suited for the garage.
The application of Terrance Cable, who own lot 4, Block 5, Walesch
Estates 2nd Addition, to appeal the County Sanitarians decision to refuue
a sewer permit because of poor soil conditions, was denied by the Town
Board.
On motion, the meeting adjourned.
