04-05-1982 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this
County of Wright 5th day of April, 1982, at 8:00 p.m. William
Town of Otsego Schu17, Chairman, Douglas Lindenfelser, Floyd
Roden, Supervisors, Betty Adkins, Deputy Clerk,
Jerome Perrault, Clerk, Lewis Pouliot, Treasurer were present.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman William Schu17. The
minutes of theMarch 15, 1982 meeting were apnroved as read.
Dave Eide, of Midwest Lanscaping, appeared before the Board to
request a variance to erect a advertising sign larger than 30 sq. ft.
as required by the County Ordinance. He wishes to erect a 12' x 14'
sign. His land is the east 20 acres of the S3/4 of the SE 1/4 of
Section 26, Township 121, Range 24. (just east of the Albertville
City limits on the north side of Co. #37).
Motion by William Schulz to approve the variance application,
seconded by Floyd Roden, passed unanimously.
Joy Swenson, representing the Wright County Historical Society
appeared before the Board to explain the needs of the Historical Soc-
iety for funds to construct a building for the use of the Society on
land donated by the County. The land is near the Public Works Building.
They would like a contribution of up to $500.00 from the Township.
The Board will consider the request and make a decision at a future
meeting.
The application of Eugene Podgimek for an "Off Sale" license to
sell non -intoxicating malt liquor at the Mississippi Riverwood K.O.A.
Campground was received by the Town Board.
Motion by William Schu1.7 to approve the application, Seconded
by Douglas Lindenfelser, passed unanimously,
The Petition of Eugene Podgimek for a. Conditional Use Permit to
expand the K.O.A. Campground and upgrade the sewr system was reviewed
by the Town Board. The Board feels thatthe Otsego Planning Commission
should have an opportunity to consider this and make their recommend-
ations to the Town Board.
Proceeding as a Board of Audit, the Town Board audited and allowed
verified accounts Nos. 35 to 89 inclusive.
On motion the meeting was adjourned.
