05-03-1982 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this County of Wright 3rd day of May, 1982, at 8:00 p.m. William Town of Otsego Schu17, Chairman, Douglas Lindenfelser and Floyd Roden, Supervisors, Betty Adkins, Deputy Clerk, Jerome Perrault, Clerk and Lewis Pouliot, Treasurer were present. The meeting was called to order by Chairman William Schu17. The minutes of the April 19, 1982, Town Board meeting were approved as read. George and Helen Daluge appeared before the Board to request a variance from the one per forty break to separate 10 acres from a 70 acres farm. They wish to keep 10 acres with the buildings and sell the remaining 60 acres as farm land. Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to approve the variance application seconded by Floyd Roden, passed unanimously. The Board requested Mr. and Mrs. Daluge to appear at the next meeting of the Otsego Planning Commission and present their variance application to the commission members. Warren Phillips, owner of the Tom Thumb store in Otsego Township, appeared be fore the Board to say that he would be interested in ap- plying for an Off -Sale Liquor License as soon as they are available. He plans to construct a building just west of the Tom Thumb Store. The Board advised him they will not be able to issue Off -Sale Licenses until after August 1, 1982 and they will keep him advised as to when the licenses will be available. Attorney Bill Rad7will is Presently preparing an Ordinance for the Township to regulate the licensing. John Darkenwald also appeared before the Board to express an interest in abtaining an Off -Sale Liquor License. Mr. Darkenwald owns and operates the Riverbend Mobile Home Park and also more land ad- jacent to the park which they intend to develop. Rand Patton appeared before the Board to complain that there is a drop of 6 to 7 inches from the end of his driveway to the Township Road (80th street). The Board advised him that they will check into the situation. The Great River Acres bituminous street paving project was dis- cussed by the Town Board. Final decision on whether or not to do the project was not made at this time. Motion by William Schul7 to pay part-time help for road mainten- ance at the rate of $6.00 per hour for this fiscal year. Seconded by Floyd Roden, passed unanimously. Motion by Douglas LindenfO_ser to pay a fee of $2.00 per permit for burning permits issued by authorized personnel during non -office hours. Seconded by William Schu17, passed unanimously. Proceeding as a Board of Audit, the Town Board audited and allowed verified accounts Nos. 91 to 126 inclusive. On the motion, the meeting adjourned.
