06-07-1982 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this
County of Wright 7th day of June, 1982, at 8:00 p.m. William
Town of Otsego Schulz, Chairmen, Douglas Lindenfelser and
Floyd Roden, Supervisors, Betty Adkins, Deputy
Clerk, Jerome Perrault, Clerk, were present.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman William Schulz. The
minutes of the May 17, 1982 Town Board meeting were approved as read.
Elizabeth Kepka appeared before the Board to request a variance
to permit one building site on the 48 acre tract of agricultural land
they have separated from the rest of the farm. This land lies south
of Co. #39.
The Board requested that she appear before the next meeting of
the Otsego Planning Commission on June 10, 1982 to present her request
to them for their consideration.
The Board discussed the Great River Acres bitunimous project.
William Schulz said a petition had been received containing signatures
representing about 30 lots, 1/2 of the lots involved, requesting that
the project not be done.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to cancel the Great River Acres,
bitunimous project. Seconded by William Schulz, passed unanimously.
Pete Raatikka appeared to the Board to announce that he is now
a member of the engineering firm of Hokanson, Anderson and Associates,
Inc. of Anoka, MN and that he would be interested in working for the
Township on any future road projects.
The Board received a bill from the City of Elk River for a fire
department call to the Fabian Sadowski farm. As Mr. Sadkowski had
obtained a burning permit and had called the fire department notifying
them that he intended to burn, the board did not feel obligated to rev
for this bill of the Elk River Fire Department call.
Motion by William Schulz to disallow this bill, Seconded by Doug
Lindenfelser and passed unanimously.
Proceeding as a Board of Audit, the Town Board audited and allowed
vertified accounts Nos. 127 to 160 inclusive.
On motion, the meeting adjourned.
