07-06-1982 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this County of Wright 6th day of July, 1982, at 8:00 p.m. William Town of Otsego Schulz, Chairman, Douglas Lindenfelser and Floyd Roden, Supervisors, Betty Adkins, Deputy Clerk, Jerome Perrault, Clerk and Lewis Pouliot, Treasurer, were pre- sent. The meeting was called to order by Chairman William Schulz. The minutes of the June 21, 1982, Town Board meeting were approved as read. Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to pay the city of Elk River for the Fabian Sadowski fire call. Seconded by William Schulz, passed unanimously. Motion by William Schulz to approve the application of Steven Brosko to build an addition to his home located in a flood plan area in Section 10, Township 121, Range 23. Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser passed unanimously. Motion by William Schulz to approve the application of Barthel Homes, Inc. for a lot line adjustment to add 25 feet from lot 3 to lot 2, Block 3, Halls 3rd addition. Seconded by Floyd Roden, passed unani- mously. Motion by William Schulz to approve the application of Richard Gardner for a conditio :1 use permit for a home occupation extended business and to erect a 32 foot (square) advertising sign (a sign larger than allowed under the Wright County Ordinance). Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser, passed unanimously. The Board discussed the fire contracts with the cities of Elk River, Monticello and Albertville. The contract with the city of Mont- icello is in force thru December 31, 1983, and calls for a standby contract charge of $600. per year, and a per run charge of $200. for the first hour or fraction thereof and $100. for each additional hour or fraction thereof. The city of Albertville has not offically re- sponded to the Town Board's suggestion of reducing the contract fee charge from one mil to .75 mil per dollar of assessed valuation for the area served and increasing the run charge from $225. to $300. for the first hour. The City of Elk River will meet with the Town Board at the next meeting Town Board meeting on July 19, 1982 to discuss the 1982 Fire Contract. Proceeding as a Board of Audit, the Town Board audited and allowed verified accounts Nos. 161 to 191, inclusive. On motion, the meeting adjourned. Attest:
