07-19-1982 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this
County of Wright 19th Day of July, 1982, at 8:00 p.m. William
Town of Otsego Schulz, Chairman, Douglas Lindenfalser and
Floyd Roden, Supervisors, Betty Adkins, Deputy
Clerk, Jerome Perrault, Clerk, were present.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman William Schulz. The
minutes of the July 6, 1982 meeting were approved as read.
Don Van Dyke appeared before the Board to reguest a permit to
build an addition to his mobile home in Praughts addition in Section
14, Township 121, Range 24, south of Co. #39. The Board advised him
that they have no objections to the addition. As yet, the Board has
not received a comment sheet and notice form from the Wright County
Zoning Administration office about the addition.
Ray Angell appeared before the Board to request permission to
subdivide lot 1, block 4, Vasseurs Oak Grove Addition in two lots of
2 & 1/2 acreas each.
Motion by William Schulz to approve subdivision, seconded by
Douglas Lindenfelser, passed unanimously.
Ingall Roskaft appeared before the Board to dicuss the proposed
1982 Comprehensive Plan for Otsego Township. One of the changes was
to include as residential all the area on the north side of Co. #39
and 1320 feet along the south side of Co. #39 all the way to west
border of the Township. Also to restrict commercial development
along highway 101 to what is already there.
Motion by William Schulz to table action on the Comprehensive
Plan at this time. Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser, passed unanimously.
Lawrence Milstroh appeared before the Board to request renewal
of his on sale - off sale license to sell non-intoxicating liquor(malt)
and to request approval of his set-up license.
Motion by William Schulz to approve the application, seconded by
Douglas Lindenfelser, passed unanimously.
Lawrence Milstroh also advised the Board that he is interested
in obtaining an off-sale liquor license for his place of business, the
Corner Bar located at the NW corner of Co. #39 and Nashua avenue. The
license would have to be issued by the county board. The Board advised
him they would consider it and give their answer at a future meeting.
John Sandberg, real estate agent and a representative of the
Meyer-Rohlin Engineering firm appeared before the Board to present
their plans for the residential development of the Bela Iverson property
along Co. #39. Their plans call for 5 lots in addition to the exsisting
home site. The 5 lots range in size from 2.5 to 3.21 acres.
The Board advised them they will present their plans to the Otsego
Planning Commission for their consideration.
The application of Maxim Valerins for a temporary use permit to
place a mobile home on his lot while building a permanent home was
denied for the lack of information as to type and sine of mobile home
and the length of time it would be needed.
Motion by William Schulz to table the application of Perry Dahl
to place a mobile home as an accesory to a farm. Seconded by Douglas
Lindenfelser, passed unanimously.
The City of Elk River Administrator was scheduled to appear be-
fore the Town Board to discuss the 1982 Fire Contract but did not
come to the meeting.
On Motion, the meeting adjourned.
