01-17-1983 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this
County of Wright 17th day of January, 1983, at 8:00 p.m. William
Town of Otsego Schulz, Chairman; Douglas Lindenfelser and Floyd
Roden, Supervisors; Jerome Perrault, Clerk; were
present.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman William Schulz. Minutes of
the January 3, 1983 meeting were approved as read.
Alvah Hamlet appeared before the Board to apply for a variance to
sell 22 acres to his son from the 53 acres he owns south of Co.#39 in
Section 15, Township 121, Range 24. The Board advised him to meet with
the Otsego Planning Commission on February 3, 1983, to present his re-
quest to them.
Frank McCoy appeared before the Board to request a variance to
subdivide his farm located in Section 27, Township 121, Range 23. He
wishes to sell 29.87 acres with the exsisting buildings and keep 35.42
acres on which he intends to build a new house.
Motion by William Schulz to deny the request of Frank McCoy for
a variance to subdivide his farm. Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser,
passed unanimously.
David Bullock and Mr. and Mrs. Schmidt appeared before the Board
to complain about the dogs running loose in their area (78th Street)
and the lack of enforcement of the Dog Control Ordinance. The Board
explained that Blaine Midway All Pets, Inc. was no longer serving the
Township and that they had contacted Gwen teman of Monticello about
serving the Township as Dogcatcher and while she said she was interested
she did not come to the Town Meeting as the Board had requested he to do.
Both Mr. Bullock and Mr. Schmidt said the were not satisfied with the
services Blaine Midway provided. The Board said the Wright County had
a kennel that would take the dogs if they knew of any one who would
pick the dogs up.
Mr. Bullock and Mr. Schmidt also complained about their neighbor,
Mark Posley, whose yard was full of junk cars, did not have a well in
operating condition, and let his lot grow up to grass and weeds, and
also Ronal and Pauline Weber whose lot was also full of junk cars, very
messy, and with unmowed grass. At the Boards request, Mr. Bullock and
Mr. Schmidt filed written complaints against Mark Posley and Ronald
Webber.
Francis Beaudry, Mutual Service Insurance Agent, appeared before
the Board to explain the Broad Form Comprehensive General Liability
Endorsement which can be attached to the Township General Liability
and Property Damage Policy. This endorsement amends the basic policy
provisions and provides additional and broader coverage.
Motion by Floyd Roden to adopt the endorsement, Seconded by William
Schulz, passed unanimously.
The Wright County Park Dept. has petitioned the Wright County Zon-
ing Administration for a Conditional Use Permit to place an accessary
structure (toilet facilities) in the Otsego Park (in Mississippi Shores)
a flood plain area.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to approve the request, Seconded
by Floyd Roden, passed unanimously.

newspapers, the Howard Lake Herold. Seconded by Floyd Roden, passed
unanimously.
