01-03-1984 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this County of Wright 3rd day of January, 1984, at 8:00 p.m. Floyd Town of Otsego Roden, Chairman; Douglas Lindenfelser and Will- iam Schulz, Supervisors; Lani Will, Deputy Clerk; Lewis Pouliot, Treasurer; Jerome Perrault, Clerk; were present. The meeting was called to order by Chai n Floyd Roden. The minutes of the December 19, 1983, Town Board meeting were approved as read. Valerie Bullock appeared before the Board to request a variance to keep a horse on a 2.55 acre lot. She now lives at 7331 Rosewood Lane in Maple Grove, MN 55369, and she and her husband have a pur- chase agreement to buy a 2.55 acre lot from Paul and Kathleen Fischer at 16750 70th Street NE on the contingency that she be allowed to keep a horse on the lot. The lot is zoned residential and a variance is needed as the County Ordinance requires a residential lot size of at least 4 acres in order to keep a horse on it. Motion by William Schulz to approve a variance for Valerie Bullock to have one horse on her lot at 16750 70th Street NE ( a 2.55 acre lot) as the area is basically agricultural and contingent upon no objections fro■ the neighbors and on condition that the Otsego Planning Co=-a ission approves the variance request. Seconded by Doug Lindenfelser, passed unanimously. Mrs. Bullock was requested to appear at the next meeting of the Otsego Planning Commission on January 5, 1984, to present her var- iance request. Edward Greninger appeared before the Board to discuss purchasing a hydraulic controlled push frame attachment to convert the truck snow plow into a reversible plow. The attachment is available from Little Falls Machine, Inc. Mr. Greninger felt the attachment would be helpful in clearing snow from cul-de-sacs. Motion by William Schulz to purchase a reversible push frame attachment with the necessary hydraulic attachments for the truck snow plow from Little Falls Machine, Inc., providing the Board has the option to purchase a new plow to go with the attachment for $1355. 00. Seconded by Floyd Roden, passed unanimously. Motion by Floyd Roden to approve Lani Will attending the Institute for Building Officials Seminar on January 18, 1984. Seconded by William Schulz, passed unanimously. Proceeding as a Board of Audit, the. Town Board audited and allow- ed verified accounts numbers 376 to 412, inclusive. On motion the meeting adjourned.
