07-02-1984 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this County of Wright 2nd day of July, 1984, at 8:00 p.m. Douglas Town of Otsego Lindenfelser, Chairman; Floyd Roden, Super- visor; Lani Will, Deputy Clerk; Lewis Pouliot Treasurer; and Jerome Perrault, were present. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Douglas Lindenfelser. The minutes of the June 18, 1984, Town Board Meeting were approved as read. Pete Merges appeared before the Board to request a permit to put an advertising sign on the end of his barn. It will be necessary for him to have a Conditional Use Permit. He will fill out the applica- tion and appear at the next meeting. Motion by Floyd Roden to give Tim Peterson until August 15, 1984 to clean up the tires on the lot and mow the lot, any tires remain- ing must be confined to inside the building. Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser, passed unanimously. The Town Board tabled action at this time on Mrs Christian's request to rezone 5 acres with a house to business or commercial. The 5 acres are located across County Road #39 from the Tom Thumb. Residents of Ogren Avenue in Halls Addition appeared in regard to the water ponds along Ogren Avenue that are flooding lots and basements. The Board will contact the County Engineer regarding doing a survey of the area to see if an outlet can be found to drain the ponds. Motion by Floyd Roden to table action of consideration of the blacktopping of 91st Street until the first meeting of August. Second- ed by Douglas Lindenfelser, passed. Bud Judkins appeared to complain about the junk at 8419 Packard Avenue. Lani Will said that the County is taking action and taking the owner to court in regard to cleaning up the lot. Ron Berthiaume appeared in regard to a culvert under Kadler Avenue by his lot (lot 6, Island View Estates). The water runs under Kadler Avenue and has caused flooding in the back of his lot. The Town Board will go out and check the situation. Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to renew the Off-Sale Liquor License for the Riverview Liquorette for the same fee of $500.00 per year, seconded by Floyd Roden, passed. Motion by Floyd Roden to accept the bid of A-1 Auto Body at $320.25 to repair and paint the truck body of the International Truck. Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser, passed. Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to advertise for bids for the hauling of 500 cubic yards (more or less) of Class 5 stockpiled gravel with the bids to be received and opened on August 6, 1984. Seconded by Floyd Roden, passed. Proceeding as a Board of Audit, the Town Board audited and allowed vertifflied accounts numbers 170 to 199, inclusive. On motion, the meeting adjourned.
