12-17-1984 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this County of Wright 17 day of December, 1984 at 8:00 p.m. Douglas Town of Otsego Lindenfelser, Chairman; Floyd Roden and Norman Freske, Supervisors; Lani Will, Deputy Clerk; Lewis Pouliot, Treasurer; and Jerome Perrault, Clerk, were present. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Douglas Lindenfelser. The minutes of the December 3, 1984, Town Board Meeting were approved as read. Dave Anderson, Co -Ordinator for the Sherburne County 911 Emergency Number System, addressed the Town Board. The Elk River 441 telephone exchange has been accepted as part of the 911 system. The problem arises in that part of the area of the Township that is under contract to the City of Albertville Fire Department has 441 telephone numbers and the 911 calls to the Fire Department will automatically go to the Elk River Fire Department unless the caller specifies that they want the Albertville Fire Department. Mr. Anderson said that Wright County is now making plans to adopt the 911 Emergency Number System and will probably be operational within the next nine months. Once this is in operation, it will alleveate some of the problems we now have. The City of Albert- ville has said that they will provide information as to what number to call for fire department service for those people in their contract area. Ronald Webber appeared before the Board to request a permit to move an 18' X 22' garage onto his lot at 14339 N.E. 78th Street. Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to approve the permit request of Ronald Webber to move in an 18' X 22' garage. Seconded by Floyd Roden, passed unanimously. Motion by Norman Freske to have Lani Will attend an On Site Sewage Treatment Workshop on January 8, 9, and 10th, 1985, in St. Cloud, and to pay the $55.00 fee for registration and the 1985 Manual. Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser, passed unanimously. Proceeding as a Board of Audit, the Town Board uadited and allowed vertified accounts numbers 456 to 477 inclusive.
