01-07-1985 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this
County of Wright 7 day of January, 1985 at 1:00 p.m. Douglas
Town of Otsego Lindenfelser, Chairman; Floyd Roden and Norman
Freske, Supervisors; Lewis Pouliot, Treasurer;
Lani Will, Deputy Clerk; and Jerome Perrault, Clerk, were present.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Douglas Lindenfelser.
Minutes of the December 17, 1984, Town Board Meeting were approved as
read.
The multi-pak insurance policy with Mutual Service Company was
reviewed by the Town Board. This policy covers Liability and Property
Damage, Fire and Wind Insurance on Township buildings and contents,
and theft insurance. This policy was renewed in December 1984. The
Board will request agent Francis Beaudry to appear at the next Board
Meeting to go over the policy with them to be sure there is adequate
coverage.
Fire department contracts for 1985 were discussed. The contract
with the City of Albertville was approved and signed. This contract
calls for a $14.00 per unit charge. The City of Elk River has not
presented a contract as yet.
Ingall Roskaft informed the Board that Ron Van Tassel has moved
out of the Township and will need a repalcement for him on the Otsego
Planning Commission. Possible replacements for him were discussed
by the Board. By phone the position was offered to Jim Barthel. He
will consider it and advise the Board of his decision.
Betty Adkins term on the Wright County Board of Adjustment is
expiring. The Board will send a letter to the County Commissioners
endorsing her re -appointment to the position.
Proceeding as a Board of Audit, the Town Board audited and al-
lowed vertified accounts numbers 478 to 504 inclusive.
