06-03-1985 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this County of Wright 3 day of June, 1985, at 8:00 p.m. Floyd Roden, Town of Otsego Chariman; Douglas Lindenfelser and Norman Freske, Supervisors; Lewis Pouliot, Treasurer; Lani Will, Deputy Clerk; and Jerome Perrault, Clerk, were present. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Floyd Roden. The minutes of the May 20, 1985, Town Board meeting were approved as read. James Lefebvre appeared before the Board to request a variance to place a house on a 70 acre tract of Ag land. The County Ordiance allows one house per 34 of a 34 section, but because the 70 acres is in 2- 34 of sections, he needs a variance. Motion by Floyd Roden to grant James Lefebvre a variance to allow him to put a house on a 70 acre tract of Ag Land that is in two differ- ent of a 34 section contingent upon approval of the Otsego Township Planning Commission. Seconded by Norman Freske, passed unanimously. Kenneth Maciej of 16880 70th Street NE appeared before the Board to request a road setback variance to place a house 100 feet back from County Road 122 (70th Street) instead of the 130 feet required by County Ordinance. The house will replace a mobile home now on the site. The septic system already in place makes it difficult to place the house further back. The Town Board requested him to appear before the Otsego Planning Commission and present his request to them for their consid- eration. Motion by Floyd Roden to table action on Mr Maciej's request until June 17, 1985 Town Board meeting. Seconded by Norman Freske, passed unanimously. Cecelia Moore questioned who makes the decision whether a lot is messy. Lani Will explained that a complaint is usually made by a neigh- bor or neighbors. The Town Board then sends a notice to the property owner. If the property owner fails to comply, the complaint is turned over to the County Zoning Office. Charles Christian appeared to request the Town Board's approval of the road in his Hidden Valley development. Motion by Norman Freske to approve and accept the road in Hidden Valley subdivision (with the exception of the bituminous paving which will be complated by October 1, 1985). Seconded by Douglas Linden- felser, passed unanimously. Motion by Floyd Roden to pay $30.00 to Donna Knox in payment for the tree cut down by the Otsego Maintenance men. Seconded by Norman Freske, passed unanimously. Proceeding as a Board the Town Board audited and allowed vertified accounts numbers 111 to 142 inclusive. On motion, the meeting adjourned.
