08-19-1985 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this
County of Wright 19 day of August, 1985, at 8:00 p.m. Floyd
Town of Otsego Roden, Chairman; Douglas Lindenfelser and Norm
Freske, Supervisors; Lewis Pouliot, Treasurer;
and Jerome Perrault, Clerk, were present.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Floyd Roden. The
minutes of the August 5, 1985, Town Board meeting were approved as
read.
Donald Corbin appeared before the Board to discuss the water
problem on the lot in the NE corner of Walesch Estates. The lot is
owned by Duane Ferrario of 8231 Odean Avenue NE and Mr. Corbin is
interested in purchasing the lot. The water drains toward the lot
then washes down the steep incline on the lot. The Board suggested
that Mr. Ferrario consider installing a culvert to serve as a spill-
way. It would be Mr. Ferrarios responsibility to purchase the cul-
vert as it is private property.
Motion by Floyd Roden to pay Omann Construction, Inc., #38,055.00
for bituminous road work. Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser, passed
unanimously.
Motion by Floyd Roden to authorize Lani Will to send a notice
to charles Brisbin of 8246 Ogren Avenue NE to remove the junk cars
from his lot by October 1, 1985. Seconded by Norman Freske, passed
unanimously.
Motion by Floyd Roden to request the Wright County Zoning Office
to correct the violation of Wright County Ordinance Section 703
(refuse) and Section 714.3 (miscellanious nuisances) by Sally Gul-
branson of Lot 1, Block 1, Vasseurs 0ak Gorve Estates 3rd Addition.
Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser, passed unanimously.
Motion by Floyd Roden to postpone the first meeting in September
from September 2 to September 9, 1985, at 8:00 p.m. Seconded by
Douglas Lindenfelser, passed unanimously.
Proceeding as a Board of Audit, the Town Board audited and al-
lowed vertified accounts numbers 214 to 225 inclusive.
On motion, the meeting adjourned.
