09-16-1985 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this
County of Wright 16 day of September, 1985, at 8:00 p.m. Floyd
Town of Otsego Roden, chairman; Douglas Lindenfelser and Norm
Freske, Supervisors; Lani Will, Deputy Clerk; and
Jerome Perrault, Clerk, were present.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Floyd Roden. The
minutes of the September 9, 1985, Town Board meeting were approved
as read.
Jeff Cantrell appeared before the Board to request a lot line
adjustment. He wishes to split 10 acres off a 13 acre parcel owned
by his father. The remaining 3 acres will be attached to a 45 acre
parcel also owned by his father. The 45 acre parcel is on the East
side of the 13 acre parcel.
Motion by Norman Freske to approve the lot line adjustmnet re-
quest of Jeff Cantrell. Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser, passed
unanimously.
Herman Moseng appeared before the Board to request a permit to
move in a 20' x 22' garage.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to approve a permit for Herman
Moseng to movein a 20' x 22' garage. Seconded by Norman Freske,
passed unanimously.
Herman Moseng also requested a permit to pour a cement slab to
place a garage on.
Motion by Norman Freske to approve a permit for Herman Moseng
to pour a cement slab to place the garage on, on condition that he
build a garage if he does not move a garage in. Seconded by Douglas
Lindenfelser, passed unanimously.
The semaphore signal for the junction of Hwy 101, C.R. 36 and
C.R. 130 was discussed at this time. The Town Board is scheduled to
meet with the County Commissioners tomorrow morning (Sept. 17) to
discuss the semaphore signal system and how to finance it. Commis-
sioner Basil Schillewart advised the Board to come to the meeting
with a figure in mind that they would be willing to spend for the
signal system. Ingall Roskaft expressed the opinion that the; Board
should consider the fact that the Township provides very few roads
for the residents of the Township near the proposed semaphore signal
when considering budgeting funds for the semaphore.
Motion by Floyd Roden to request the Wright County Zoning office
to correct the violation of Wright County Ordinance Section 703
Refuse and Section 714.3 Miscellaneous Nuisances at Lot 22, Block 1,
Walesch Estates 2nd Addition, 1 1 9t Street, Elk River, owned
by William Harris. Seconded by Norman Freske, passed unanimously.
On motion, the meeting adjourned.
