11-04-1985 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this County of Wright 4th day of November, 1985, at 8:00 p.m. Floyd Town of Otsego Roden, Chairman; Douglas Lindenfelser and Norm Freske, Supervisors; Lewis Pouliot, Treasurer; Lani Will, Deputy Clerk; and Jerome Perrault, Clerk, were present. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Floyd Roden. The minutes of the October 21, 1985, Town Board Meeting were approved as read. Dennis Taylor, Surveyor, who is recording the township roads appeared before the Board with his completed road map of the town- ship roads. Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to proceed with the recording of the township roads to publish the road map and descriptions of the township roads and schedule a public hearing on the recording of the roads at 8:00 p.m., December 2, 1985. Seconded by Norman Freske, passed unanimously. Charles Christian appeared before the Board regarding acceptance of the road in Hidden Valley development. The blacktop is completed but some of the ditch work is not completed. Motion by Floyd Roden to accept the road in Hidden Valley as a public road with the blacktop completed as of this date, the ditch work to be inspected for approval at a later date. Seconded by Doug- las Lindenfelser, passed unanimously. Motion by Floyd Roden to inspect the ditches on the road in Hidden Valley in the spring of 1986. Seconded by Norman Freske, pas- sed unanimously. Clifford Lundberg, attorney representing Ray Polaschek, appeared before the Board regarding Ray Polaschek's request to vacate a drain- age and utility easement over and across the northern 10 feet of lot 3, and the southern 10 feet of lot 4, block 4, Deerfield Acres, excepting therefrom the easternly 10 feet thereof and excepting also the westernly 10 feet thereof and that utility and drainage easement over and across lots 3 and 4, block 4 of Deerfield Acres. Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to hold a Public Hearing on the request of Ray Polaschek to vacate certain drainage and utility ease- ments at 8:30 p.m., December 2, 1985. Seconded by Floyd Roden, passed unanimously. Scott Rodby appeared before the Board in regard to his request for a setback variance to build a garage 114 feet from the center of County Road 39 (the same setback as his exsisiting home) instead of 130 feet as required by County Ordinance. Motion by Norman Freske to approve the setback variance request of Scott Rodby to build a garage 114 feet from the centerline of County Road 39, contingent upon approval of the Otsego Planning Commission. Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser, passed unanimously. Nancy McAlpine appeared before the Board in regard to a request by David Boggs for a permit to build a pole building to be used as an exercise area for horses. The County Planning and Zoning Office advised him that he needed a conditional use permit, she said the exercise building will be fore private use only and not for public use. Motion by Floyd Roden that while approving the conditional use permit application of David Boggs, to also recommend to the County Planning and Zoning Office that the permit application falls under Section 604.2 (permitted uses in agricultural area) and does not require a conditional use permit because it is for personal use only and not for public use. Seconded by Norman Freske, passed unanimously. State of Minnesota County of Wright Town of Otsego Meeting of November 4, 1985 Page 2 Ray Vasseur appeared before the Board to request a temporary use permit to live in a camper on his property until spring when he plans to build a home. The Board advised him to appear at the meeting of the Otsego Planning Commission on November 7, 1985, if he plans to pursue his request. Proceeding as a Board of Audit, the Town Board auditted and allowed vertified accounts numbers 294 to 314, inclusive. On motion, the meeting adjourned. SUPERVISORS: ATTEST: Jerome Perrault, Clerk
