12-02-1985 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this
County of Wright 2nd day of December, 1985, at 8:00 p.m. Floyd
Town of Otsego Roden, Chairman; Douglas Lindenfelser, Super-
visor; Lewis Pouliot, Treasurer; Lani Will,
Deputy Clerk; and Jerome Perrault, Clerk, were present.
The Meeting was called to order by Chairman Floyd Roden. The
minutes of the November 18, 1985, Town Board Meeting were approved
as read.
The first item on the agenda was a Public Hearing on the proposed
recording of the township roads, Dennis Taylor, Surveyor, was present
at the Hearing to present the Town Road Map and detailed description of
all the roads to be recorded. A notice of this Hearing and description
of all the roads to be recorded and a copy of the Township Roads Map
were published in the Elk River Star News.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to accept the Township Road Map
and the recording of Township Roads as described. Seconded by Floyd
Roden, and passed.
The next item on the agenda was a Public Hearing on the request
of Ray and Gloria Polaschek to vacate utility and drainage easements
on their lot in Deerfield Acres. Clifford Lundberg, Attorney for Mr.
& Mrs. Polaschek advised that the reason for the request was that
their home was built by mistake on the easement.
Herb Peck appeared before the Board to complain that people are
dumping junk along -side Nashua Avenue as it approaches the river.
He asked if the Township had any suggestions on how to prevent this
from happening as to people seem toignore the 'No Dumping signs.

The Board suggested that a "No Dumping sign be placed at the top of
the hill on Nashua before the descent to the river so that people
would see the sign sooner.
Motion by Floyd Roden to request the Minnesota Department of
Labor and Industry Rehabilitation and Medical Services Division, for
a change in the Q.R.C. representing Gordon DeMars and to have Mans-
field Associates, Inc. represent him. Seconded by Douglas Lindenfel-
ser and passed.
Motion by Floyd Roden to keep the snow removed from the road
around the City of Albertville Sewage Plant until March 15, 1986.
Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser and passed.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to pay Assessor Andrew Merges
the same salary as last year ($3.50 per parcel assessed based on
1717 parcels with the payments to be in 5 monthly payments of $1000.
each and the 6th and final payment to be for the balance due). Se-
conded by Floyd Roden and passed.
Proceeding as a Board of Audit, the Town Board audited and al-
lowed vertified accounts numbers 315 to 335, inclusive.
On motion, the meeting adjourned.
