09-22-1986 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this
Town of Otsego 22nd day of September, 1986, at 8:00 p.m. Doug
County of Wright Lindenfelser, Chairman; Floyd Roden and Norman
Freske, Supervisors; Lard_ Will, Deputy clerk;
Lewis Pouliot, Treasurer; Jerome Perrault, Clerk; and Pete Raatikka,
Engineer, were present.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Douglas Lindenfelser.
The minutes of the September 8, 1986, Town Board Meeting were approved
as read.
The first item on the agenda was an Assessment Hearing on the
bituminous Project of Page Avenue and 85th Street. Pete Raatikka pre-
sented the Assessment Roll to the Town Board. There will be six units
assessed at $1000.00 per unit over a 10 year period nt 8% interest. The
Total interest on each unit for the ten year period would be $461.92.
The property owners would have thirty days from this date to pay the
assessment in full to avoid any interest charge.
Motion by Floyd Roden to adopt the assessment roll for Page Ave
and 85th Street.
Ronald Bertiaume appeared before the Board to say he has a water
problem on his lot in Island View Estates. His lot is in the N.W.
corner of Island View Estates on the East side of Kadler Avenue. The
water runs through a culvert under Kadler Avenue and stands on the
North end of his lot. He has had Pete Schmitz do some surveying on
his lot to dtermine where the water should run to. The Town Board
advised him they will come out and check his lot to see if a solution
can be found.
Keith Keller has been sent a notice to remove the junk cars from
his lot and he has not complied.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to turn the case of Keith Keller's
junk cars over to the Wright County Zoning Office, Zoning Administrator
and County Attorney. Seconded by Floyd Roden, passed unanimously.
Motion by Floyd Roden to amend the motion of June 16, 1986 which
approved the issuance of an on sale liquor license for Stewart Turn-
quist to read approved the issuance of an on sale wine license for
Stewart Turnquist. Seconded by Norman Freske, passed unanimously.
Evelyn Koenig has received a permit for a mobile home as a farm
accessory but has not installed the mobile home as yet.
Motion by Floyd Roden to review the mobile home as a farm accessory
of Evelyn Koenig one year after the mobile home is installed. Seconded
by Norman Freske, passed unanimously.
The mobile home as a farm accessory permit of Raymond Davis on
his father Kenneth Davis' farm is subject to renewal at this time.
Raymond Davis is no longer farming and the farm will probably be sold
by the spring of 1987. Mr Davis has requested an extensionof the permit
until the farm is disposed of.
Motion by Floyd Roden to grant an extension of the mobile home as
a farm accessory permit of Kenneth Davis and Raymond Davis until the
spring of 1987. Seconded by Norman Freske, passed unanimously.
