11-03-1986 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this
County of Wright 3 day of November, 1986, at 8:00 p.m. Douglas
Town of Otsego Lindenfelser, Chairman; Floyd Roden & Norman
Freske, Supervisors; Lewis Puliot, Treasurer;
Lani Will, Deputy Clerk; and Jerome Perrault, Clerk, were present.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Douglas Lindenfelser.
The minutes of the October 20, 1986, Town Board Meeting were approved
as read.
James Daniels of the Rite Cable Company appeared before the Board
to discuss the receive site tower he wants to install in the Township.
The towner will be about 100 feet tall And will be located 130 feet
back from the centerline of County Road 1?7 on the Bob & Eileen Bower-
sox farm.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to grant Rite Cable Company a
permit to construct a. 110 foot (or less) tower to create a microwave
length between the main head end in Buffalo and the receive site in
Otsego Township. Seconded by Norman Freske, passed unanimously.
Barb Isaacson, Rehabilitation Consultant, and Gordon DeMars
appeared before the Board to discuss Cordons disability status. Dr
Arnold has diagnosed him as being able to work full time and Dr Walker
feels he is capable of only part time work. Barb Isaacson said she
felt that Gordon be test again to determine his Ability to perform
different tasks. She also said that is was her job to check the Town-
ship tractor and trucks to see if the controls could be modified to
make it easier for Gordon to handle.
The Board replied they felt that with winter coming plowing snow
would be too difficult for Gordon to handle.
Gordon replied that he felt the work required of him in Otsego
was too strenous for him and the the City of St Michael is willing
to hire him for 4 hours every day.
The Board will check with the Wausau Insurance Company to see if
it will have any effect on Cordons benefits if the Township no longer
employs him.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to hire David Chase as a part time
road maintenance macs employee at $7.00 per hour. Seconded by Floyd
Roden, passed unanimously.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to pay Mary Greninger $5.00 per
hour plus mileage at $.23 per mile And re-imbursement for lunch and
parking for taking Gordon DeM9.rs to a conference in Minneapolis. Se-
conded by Floyd Roden, passed unanimously.
Proceeding as a.Board of Audit, the Town Board audited and allowed
vertified accounts numbers 346 to 377 inclusive.
On motion the Town Board Meeting adjourned.
