The meeting was called to order by Chairman Douglas Lindenfelser. The
Minutes of the November 3, 1986 Town Board meeting were approved as read.
Richard Nelson appeared to request a permit to replace a mobil home with
a newer and larger mobil home a 14' x 80'. He lives on Lot 13, Block 3, Otsego
Acres 1st Addition, which is in an area not zoned for mobile homes. The Otsego
Planning Commission has approved the permit.
Motion by Norman Freske to grant Richard Nelson a Conditional Use Permit
subject to renewal in 6 years, to replace an exsisting mobile home with a newer
14' X 80' mobile home. Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser, passed unanimously.
Mary Zachman appeared to request a variance to establish a 1 to 22 acre
lot on a 222 acre parcel of ag. land owned by her father, Kenneth Zachman.
The parcel had been 40 acres before the freeway went through it.
Motion by Norman Freske to approve a variance for Mary Zachman to split
a 1 to 22 lot from a 222 acre parcel owned by her father. Seconded by Floyd
Roden, passed unanimously.
Julie Braun appeared to request a home occupation permit for a Beauty
Salon.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to approve a Conditional Use Permit for
a Home Occupation Beauty Salon for Julie Braun., Seconded by Floyd Roden,
passed unanimously.
Lawrence Fournier appeared to request a variance to split 12 acres and
the existing house from a 35 acre parcel of Ag. land so that it can be sold
seperately. He had sold the entire 35 acres with the home, but the deal fell
through.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to approve a variance for Lawrence Fournier
to split 12 acres and the existing home from a 35 acre parcel of Ag. Land, Secon-
ded by Norman Freske, Passed unanimously.
Tom Juergens appeared to request a permit to establish a Horse Veterinarian
in the existing buildings on the Ernest Barthel farm.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to approve a permit for Tom Juergens to
establish a Horse Veterinarian Businessin the existing buildings on the Ernest
Barthel farm. Seconded by Norman Freske, passed unanimously.
Kevin Henry has been operating a Commercial Business as a home extended business
at 5434 Quale Avenue without a permit. The County Zoning Administrator has advised
him he cannot continue to operate the business because it is closer than 500 ft.
from the nearest residence. Motion by Floyd Roden to have the County Zoning
Administrator and County Attorney take action against Mr. Henry to close down
the business. Seconded by Norman Freske, Passed unanimously.
Louis Szenay, who lives on 84th Street in Vasseurs Addition has 3 mobil
homes on his Lot, Motion by Floyd Roden to have the County Attorney and County
Zoning Administration take action to correct this violation by Mr. Szenay.
