02-02-1987 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this
County of Wright 2 day of FebruAry, 1987, at 8:00 p.m. Douglas
Town of Otsego Lindenfelser, Chairmnn; Floyd Roden and Norman
Freske, Supervisors; Lani Will, Deputy Clerk;
and Jerome Perrault, Clerk, were present.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Douglas Lindenfelser.
The minutes of the January 21, 1987, Town Board Meeting were approved
as read.
Pastor Karen Geisendorfer-lindgren of the Christ Church Appeared
before the Board to request permission to use the Town Wall on Wednes-
day evenings and Munday Thursday evening during Lent for church services.
Motion by Floyd Roden to grant the Christ Church permission to use
the Town Hall for church services on Wednesday evenings and Munday
Thursday evening during Lent. Seconded by Norman Freske, passed unan-
imously.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to have maintenance man DAvid
Chase attend a Road Maintenance Workshop in Brainerd on March 10 & 11.
Seconded by Norman Freske, passed unanimously.
Motion by Norman Freske to pay Northdnle Construction, contractor
for the storm drain project, a 3rd partial payment of $71,557.80 And
retain $13,766.20 which is 5% of the total of $775,174.00 in work
completed as of this date. Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser, passed
unanimously.
Vernon Morrell, Deputy Constable, appeared before the Board to
request a raise in pny. He receives A wage of $.50 per hour for serv-
ing as peace officer at Township, PrimAry And General Elections. The
Board will check with David Fricke to see what peace officer require-
ments are And if it is required to have n pence officer in nttendnnce
at elections.
The Town Board appointed the following to serve As Election
Judges for the Annual Town Election on March 10, 1987:
Marion Alexander, Viols Landwehr, Judy Roden, Marie Corbin,
Judy Silverness, Lani Will, Beverly Roden, & Della Anderson.
Proceeding as a Board of Audit, the Town Board Audited rind llowed
vertified accounts numbers 482 to 511, inclusive.
On motion, tre meeting adjourned.
