County of Wright this 6th day of April, 1987, at 8:00 P.M.
Town of Otsego Norman Freske, Chairman, Douglas Linden-
felser and Floyd Roden, Supervisors, Lani
Will, Deputy Clerk, and Jerome Perrault, Clerk, were present.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Norman Freske.
Minutes of the March 16, 1987 Town Board Meeting were approved
as read.
The Board discussed Medical Insurance coverage for Maintenance
man David Chase. Mr. Chase said that the policy he prefers is an
H.M.O. and the Board agreed that he should purchase his own policy
and they would assist him in paying for it.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to pay David Chase $150.00 per
month for his Medical Insurance coverage. Seconded by Floyd Roden,
passed unanimously.
Attorney William Radzwill, Engineer Pete Raatikka and appraiser
Don Leuer appeared before the Board to discuss the Assessment Hearing
for the Storm Drain Project. Because of the dry winter, Engineer Pete
Raatikka said that it was difficult to determine at this time if
laterals will be needed to adequately drain the area, and he would
like to see what effect heavy rains will have on the area. Attorney
William Radzwill said he would prefer to have one Assessment Hear-
ing for the main storm drain and any needed laterals, rather than
come back with another Assessment Hearing later on. Because of
this, it was decided to delay the Assessment Hearing until approx-
imately August 1st. The Board requested Don Leuer to be at the
Town Board Meeting on June 1st with final estimates for the assess-
ments on the benefiting lots.
Motion by Floyd Roden to approve a five member Wright Co. Board
of Adjustment instead of the current three member Board, with one
member from each Commissioner District. Seconded by Doug Lindenfel-
ser, passed unanimously.
Al Schwab presented the Board with plans to proceed on the
Land Alteration Project he had started and was ordered to dis-
continue by the Wright CountyPlanning Commssion.
Motion by Floyd Roden to table action on Mr. Schwab's plans
at this time. Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser, passed unanimous-
ly.
Motion by Doug Lindenfelser to send complaint notices to
Willard James, who lives at the Intersection of Kader Ave. and Co.
39, Virgil Burdick of 14990 N.E. 95th St., and Mr. Hamilton of
9425 Park Ave. in Mississippi Shores, to remove the junk cars
from their lots by June 1, 1987. Seconded by Floyd Roden, passed
unanimously.
Motion by Norman Freske to hire Gary Greninger to mow the
Town Hall and Garage lawn for the season at $40.00 per cutting.
Seconded by Doug Lindenfelser, passed unanimously.
Motion by Floyd Roden to issue Daily Overweight Permits for
a $5.00 Permit Fee, and .50 per load. Seconded by Doug Lindenfelser,
Passed unanimously.
Motion by Doug Lindenfelser to place a notice in the Elk River
Star News to the effect that all Town Roads are posted at a 5 -ton
per axel limit from March 20th to May 15th with the exception of
School Buses, Milk Trucks and Garbage Trucks. Seconded by Norman
Freske, passed unanimously.
Motion by Norman Freske to pay the Moderator of the Annual
Town Meeting $15.00 for his services. Seconded by Doug Lindenfelser,

Proceeding as a Board of Audit, the Town Board audited
and allowed verified accounts Nos. 45 to 76 inclusive.
