07-27-1987 Town Board MinutesState of Minnesota The Town Board of the Town of Otsego met this County of Wright' 27th Day of July, 1987 at 8:00 P.M. Norman Town of Otsego Freske, Chairman, Floyd Roden and Douglas Lind- enfelser, Supervisors, James Barthel, Treasurer, Elaine Beatty, Deputy Clerk, and Jerome Perrault, Clerk, were present. The meeting was called to order by Norman Freske, Chairman. David Chase reported to the Board that a large culvert under 83rd Street by the Harold Vetsch Farm is deterirating. Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to have David Chase contact the Wright County Highway Department regarding securing a 5' to 6' metal culvert to re- place an old culvert under 83rd Street. Seconded by Norman Freske. passed unanimously. Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to send a notice to the occupant of the lot at the S.E. corner of the junction of Nashua Avenue and 85th ST. re- questing him to appear at the next Town Board meeting regarding an illegal business being operated there. Seconded by Norman Freske, Passed unanimous- ly. Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to send a notice to Tom Lloyd of 14656 84TH Street requesting him to clean up his lot. He has rotten straw bales around his mobile home, has chickens on a residental lot, and an unlicensed truck parked on his lot. Seconded by Norman Freske, passed unanimously. The Town Board received two price quotations on a pickup truck they are interested in purchasing. Gould Bros. Chevrolet Co. of Monticello submitted a price quotation of $13,969.00 for a new 1987 Chevrolet Scots- dale 1/2 ton pickup truck with a 305 cu. in. engine, four wheel drive and a standard shift transmission. Gordon Lindenfelser submitted a price quotation of $12,500.00 for a 1987 Chevrolet Silverado 1/2 ton pickup with a 305 cu. in. engine, four wheel drive and an automatic transmission. This pickup has 13,400 miles on it. Motion by Floyd Roden to purchase the pickup truck from Gordon Lindenfelser for $12,500.00. Seconded by Norman Freske, passed unanimously.
