County of Wright met this 20th day of June, 1988, at
Town of Otsego 8:00 P.M. Norman Freske, Chairman,
Douglas Lindenfelser, and Floyd
Roden, Supervisors, James Barthel, Treasurer, Elaine Beatty,
Deputy Clerk, and Jerome Perrault, Clerk, were present.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Norman
Freske.
Minutes of the June 6, 1988 Town Board Meeting were
approved as read.
Attorney William Radzwill appeared before the Board to
discuss the upcomming trial starting June 27, 1988, of the
Flora Kolles Estate versus the Town of Otsego protesting the
Storm Drain Assessment. He said the Town Board will use as
it's defense the fact that thE 16 acres that were assessed
for $2,000.00 an acre were flooded and not able to be farmed.
The fact that Developer James Peterson had requested the 76
acre tract be zoned Residential and the Board had approved
his request. The request was made and approval granted
before the Assessment Hearing for the Storm Drain was held.
Mr. Radzwill said that he will attempt to obtain a copy of
the Purchase Contract between James Peterson and the Flora
Kolles Estate.
Edmund Martin of 10226 Parrish Avenue, appeared before
theBoard in regards to the cleanup of his property. Elaine
Beatty reported that she had done a site inspection of Mr.
Martin's property and verified that he had Cleaned up the lot
considerably with the exception of 3 vans parked on the
property, two of which are used for storage. The Board
advised him that the vans should be removed and suggested he
construct a building for storage. The Board will review the
cleanup project in October and see what progress has been
made.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to pay the renewal
premium of $955.33 for the Dog Catcher Liability Insurance
for the period of 7-7-88 to 7-7-89. Seconded by Floyd Roden,
all Board Members voted in favor of the Motion.
Motion by Floyd Roden to pay $60.00 in fees to obtain a
Notary Commission for Deputy Clerk Elaine Beatty. Seconded
by Norman Freske, all Board Members voted in favor of the
Motion.
Motion by Floyd Roden to grant Clayton Eckhart of 14889
N.E. 81st Street an additional 60 days to clean up his lot
because of illness. Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser, all
Board Members voted in favor of the Motion.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to send notices to the
following people to cut the grass and weeds on their
property:
LeRoy Brown of 10175 Parrish Ave.,Elk River, Minn.
Thomas Adams of 15728 NE 94TH Circle, Elk River, Minn.
The Thomas & Nettleton Co.,1600 Viceroy,Dallas Texas,
who ownes the lot at 9497 NE Parkington Avenue. Seconded by
Norman Freske, all Board Members voted in favor of the

Motion by Floyd Roden to approve renewal of the On and
Off Sale Liquor Licenses for The Riverview Liquorette owned
by Warren Phillips and Judith Phillips. Seconded by Douglas
Lindenfelser, all Board Members voted in favor of the Motion.
Motion by Floyd Roden to grant the Wright County
Sherriff's Department permission to use the Town Hall
facilities for writing reports and telephone use. Seconded
by Douglas Lindenfelser, all Board Members voted in favor of
the Motion.
Motion by Norman Freske to hold a Town Board Meeting
tomorrow (June 21st, 1988) at 2:00 P.M. to receive the
Feasibility Study report from Engineer Peter Raatikka on the
upgrading and bituminous surfacing of Kadler Avenue from
County Road #39 to 85TH Street and 92ND Street West ofKadler
Avenue and to further discuss the upcoming trial of The Flora
Kolles Estate versus the Town of Otsego with Attorney William
Radzwill. Seconded by Floyd Roden, All Board Members Voted in
favor of the Motion.
Proceeding as a Board of Audit the Town Board audited
and allowed Verified Accounts Nos. 175to189 Inclusive.
On Motion the Meeting Adjourned.
