There are seven (7) assessable units on 92ND Street. If
the project were fully assessed, this cost per unit for 92ND
Street would $4,553.57 Kadler Avenue has 12 assessable
units. Applying that same rate of assessment $4,553.57 per
unit would generate $54,642.86, which would leave the
Township share of Kadler Avenue at $79,357.14. If the
Township were to assume half the cost of 92ND Street, the
cost per unit for the 7 units would be $2,276.78. Applying
this rate of assessment to Kadler Avenue, $2,276.78 per unit
for 12 units would generate $27,321.36, leaving the Township
share for Kadler Avenue at $106,678.64.
The Town Board will schedule a Public Hearing on the
project.
Attorney William Radzwill and Appraiser Don Leuer
appeared at the meeting to discuss the upcoming trial on June
27th of the Flora Kolles Estate versus the Town of Otsego
protesting the Storm Drain Assessment. Mr. Radzwill
requested that Mr. Leuer be present at the trial in case
information would be requested as to how he arrived at the
assessments. Mr. Radzwill also requested Engineer Peter
Raatikka be present at the trial with any information he had
in his files concerning the Kolle.®> property such as

topography, elevation and the amount of the property that
was flooded before the storm drain was installed.
Mr. Radzwill, Mr. Leuer, Mr. Raatikka and the Board
Members then did a Site Inspection of the Kolles Property.
On Motion the meeting adjourned.
