The meeting was called to order by Chairman Norman
Freske.
Minutes of the December 5, 1988 Town Board meeting were
approved as read.
Julie Majerus has requested a renewal of her Conditional
Use Permit for a Home Extended Business of Accounting. She
lives at 9382 Ochoa Avenue NE.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to renew the Conditional
Use Permit of Julie Majerus for one (1) year. Seconded by
Floyd Roden. All Board Members voted in favor of the motion.
Motion by Norman Freske to contract with the Wright
County Sheriff's Department for forty (40) hours of patrol
service per week for 1989 at $19.75 per hour. Seconded by
Douglas Lindenfeloe. Al]. Board Members voted in favor of the
motion
Contributing to the Highway #101 Enviromental Study was
discussed. The Town Board has already pledged to contribute
up to $5,000.00 for the Enviromental Study and $25,000.00
towards the installation of stop lights at the intersection
of Highway #101 and County #36 and County #130. A decision
on further contributions was tabled until the January 3,
1989 Town Board Meeting.
Motion by Douglas Lindenfelser to send a notice to
Thomas and Shannon Smith of 7888 O'Day Avenue to clean up the
junk cars, old semitrailer and other junk on their lot.
Seconded by Norman Freake. A11 Board Members voted in
favor of the motion.
Proceeding as a Board of Audit, the Town Board audited
and allowed Verified Accounts Nos. 556 to 584 inclusive.
On motion the meeting adjourned.
