Attorney Bill Radzwill advised the Board he had received
a report from the City of Elk River pertainingto the
feasibility of the Township hooking up to the City of Elk
River Sewer System. If they cross the bridge and go under
Hwy 42 the installation cost would be approximately $53,000.
The cost per 1000 gal. of capacity would be $2.08 and the
capitalization cost per 1000 gal. of capacity would be $1.45.
This information should be forwarded to Dave Licht to assist
him in preparing the Comprehensive Plan for Otsego.
Norman Freske asked Bill Radzwill if he thought having
Fire Station in Otsego in conjunction with the City of
Albertville Fire Dept. was feasible. Mr. Radzwill said it
would be advantageous as far as Fire Insurance Premiums rates
for township residents were concerned and that he felt it was
worth looking into.
Elaine Beatty and Judy Hudson asked the Board about the
advisability of purchasing a postage meter machine for the
Town Hall Office. The Board suggested it might be more
practical to purchase a scale and continue with stamps.
John Anderson reported that Gene Kreuser had contacted
Brenteson Construction of Big Lake regarding removing the old
Cemetery fence and the trees in the fence line and they would
be able to do the job later this month. The Board advised
him to proceed with the project.

Motion by Floyd Roden to charge a fee of $100.00 for gas
line installation permits. Seconded by Douglas Lindenfelser,
