COUNTY OF WRIGHT of Otsego held a Public Hearing
CITY OF OTSEGO this 13TH day of April, 1992 at
6:30PM on the proposed Vacation
of that portion of River Road that lies between Page Avenue
and Co #42. Norman F Freske, Mayor, Doug Lindenfelser, Floyd
Roden, Larry Fournier and Ron Black, Council Members, Jerome
Perrault, Clerk, Elaine Beatty, Deputy Clerk/Zoning Adm, Judy
Hudson, Secretary and Bill Radzwill, Attorney were present.
The Hearing was called to order by Mayor Norman F
Freske.
Bill Radzwill addressed the Hearing and said that
because the City plans on building 85TH Street between Co #42
and Page Avenue, this section of River Road is no longer
needed. NSP has secured an easement to leave it's power line
in place and the gas line put in by Minnegasco along River
Road will be re -located along the streets to be built. He
further said that the Council could close the Hearing and
formally Vacate River Road at some time before the
construction of 85TH Street starts and Country Ridge
Development starts construction.
Motion by Doug Lindenfelser to close the Public Vacation
Hearing. Seconded by Larry Fournier, all Council Members
voted in favor of the motion.
