COUNTY OF WRIGHT City Council of the City of Otsego
CITY OF OTSEGO was held this 10 day of September,
1992, at 3:30 PM. Norman F. Freske,
Mayor, Doug Lindenfelser, Floyd Roden, Larry Fournier, and
Ron Black, Council Members, Jerome Perrault, Clerk, Elaine
Beatty, Deputy Clerk/Zoning Administrator, Judy Hudson,
Secretary, and Don Meinhardt, Architect, were present.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Norman F.
Freske.
The purpose of the special meeting was to consider
quotes on the construction of the new City Hall. Quotes were
received for Steel Erection, Sections 510, 520 & 530 from
K & L Steel, Inc. and from Linco Steel (Brad Praught).
K & L Steel Inc. quote was $7,200.00
Linco Steel quote was 4,500.00
Motion by Doug Lindenfelser to award the Steel Erection,
Sections 510, 520 & 530 quote to Linco Steel. Seconded by
Ron Black, all Council Members voted in favor of the motion.
Motion by Ron Black that in the event Linco Steel does
not sign a contract with the City by September 14, the
contract will be awarded to K & L Steel, Inc. Seconded by
Doug Lindenfelser, all Council Members voted in favor of the
motion.
Quotes were received for the finishing and installing of
coiling fire shutters (crank opening). Crawford Door Sales,
quote was $2,950.00, Twin City Garage Door Sales quote was
$3,556.00.
Motion by Ron Black to award the quote to furnish and
install coiling fire shutters to Crawford Door Sales at
$2,950.00. Seconded by FLoyd Roden.
Ron Black commented that the Crawford Door Sales quote
was to both furnish and install the fire shutters and the
Twin City Garage Door quote was to furnish the fire shutters
only.
All Council Members voted in favor of the motion.
On motion the meeting adjourned.
