COUNTY OF WRIGHT Otsego met this 14 day of January,
CITY OF OTSEGO 1993, at 7:00 PM to interview
candidates for the EDA Advisory
Board which they will be forming soon. Norman F. Freske,
Mayor, Doug Lindenfelser, Floyd Roden, Larry Fournier and
Ron Black, Council Members, and Jerome Perrault, Clerk, were
present.
The Interview Meeting was called to order by Mayor
Norman F. Freske.
The first person interviewed was Liz Wilder of 14340
89th Street. Mrs. Wilder is an Accountant by professor and
operates her own accounting business as a home occupation
business. She is a graduate of the University of North
Dakota with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administrator.
The second person interviewed was Vern Heidner of
13922 91st Street. Mr. Heidner is an Engineer by profession
and owned and operated his own business for 14 years. He is
currently studying for his Masters Degree.
Rudy Thibodeau, of Elk River, was the third person
interviewed. Mr. Thibodeau owns and operates the Minne-E-
Golf in Otsego and also works as a business manager for the
Segate Co., a Computer Co. He has a Masters Degree in
Business Administration.
Richard Nichols of 13371 - 77th Street was the fourth
person interviewed. Mr. Nichols studied Biology and
Chemistry at the University of MN and worked for several
years as a technical supervisor and in management at
Honeywell. He is currently working for Alliant Tech Systems
in a management position.
Laverne Klinkner, of 116.53 80th Street was the fifth
person interviewed. Mr. Klinkner is a 21 year resident of
Otsego and has owned and operated his own service station in
Crystal, MN for the past 20 years.
Nancy Brunell was the sixth person interviewed. She
lives at 14526 89th Street and operates her own cleaning
business, both residential and commercial. She also has
bookkeeping and office skills.
John Darkenwald, of 7653 Quaday Avenue, was the seventh
person interviewed. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker and
works as a Real Estate Salesman and is also in construction
and financing. He is a graduate of the University of
Minnesota.
The Council has one more candidate to interview, Wally
O'Dell, who will be interviewed just prior to the start of
the Council Meeting on January 25.
